1st Working Session as a prelude to the National Convention of Gospel Singers and Actors
As a prelude to the first National Convention of Gospel Music Singers and Actors in Cameroon which will take place in November. The first preparatory meeting was held this weekend. Many gospel cantors and actors took part in this meeting chaired by Pastor Brice Tehilah.
Restore the image of Cameroonian gospel on a national and international scale such is the general objective of this national convention of cantors and gospel music actors in Cameroon. And this first working session which took place on Saturday September 7, 2019 at the Montagne de Sion temple located at PK 13 saw a strong mobilization of cantors, event organizers and others who responded to the call of Pastor Brice Tehilah. This moment allowed us to discuss various subjects affecting the unity and regrouping of the body of cantors. At the end of the session, resolutions were taken, notably the establishment of a committee which will be responsible for ruling on this convention. For Sonia Diamant, the cantors aware of the current crisis that this sector of the gospel is going through in Cameroon and remain determined and believe that, the vision of Pastor Brice will have a huge impact in Cameroon to the extent that this platform will guide a good number of cantors. And it is always with this aim of acting together that Pastor Brice reaches out to all those involved in gospel music who are still reluctant about this musical platform.
