IBIVC CONFERENCE AND GRADUATION CEREMONY WITH DR HOUTSMA

On the occasion of the graduation ceremony for students leaving the International Bible Institute for Christian Life, the founder, Dr. Roger HOUTSMA, from the USA, held a conference organized for this purpose from Thursday, October 29 to the 1st Sunday of November. Under the theme “the secrets of the manifestation of the final Church”, this conference was held in two parts at the old Eden cinema: an evening session, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., open to all; and a morning session held Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the school of ministry, since that was what it was, reserved for pastors and assembly leaders.

On the program, intercessory prayer, praise-worship, teaching. In the presence of illustrious men of God from both sides of the city of Douala and Cameroon; we will note among others those who clearly captivated the assembly: Pastor Victor Asser for the opening prayer, Dr. César Benzamahouta who introduced the founder of the IBIVC, the prophet Abega Bafounek for the intercession and the apostle Charles Diboué with several hats (leading praise and intercession).

From the whole of the preaching, over the days consecutively this emerged: when God speaks the first time, we act according to our concepts, according to our understanding of what he said. This is why we weaken, we hit a wall and often end up giving up. This brings him to speak to us for the second time; it is then that we are adjusted, enlightened. It encourages us to get up and do more because the power available gives us all that is needed to accomplish the vision. For this we must know how to weave intimacy, communication with God; we must know how to listen to him because we must dominate. In Cameroon, the way to destroy inequity, corruption for example, is by totally agreeing with the Word and going to conquer the spheres; because the heritage that we have is lived by conquest like Israel and the promised land which was to be conquered according to which their feet would tread all places.

It cannot be denied that the preaching of Dr. Roger HOUTSMA was not simply based on words; the demonstration was manifest in prophecies and miracles. Indeed, people with various, sometimes unknown illnesses have been cured. At the end of the seminar, the man of God presented the diplomas to the winners after they had testified to the contribution of the institute in their lives and ministry. The founder of the institute closed with a prayer of dedication to the recipients; thus opening the festive atmosphere for the families who came to support their graduating members.
